Prints
My prints include a variety of techniques such as Monotype, trace monotype, collograph, and intaglio. They may also use my artist made papers as chin colle My inspiration comes from the natural environment.
Water and rocks are subjects which fascinate me – their ancient history, power of movement and combined intensity.

Omphalus Syndrome
Prints, Collograph and etching plates were used to create this print symbolizing mankind's focus of themselves as the center of the universe. The center map depicts early trade routes, surrounded by an abstract representation of the inside of a slave ship. (Even humans were a dispensible 'resource') Lastly, the outside uses Finnish bomark signs which were used to identify tools in my father's ancestral lands. They depicted ownership.

Axis Mundi
Prints, Collograph plate created from seeds and printed on my own kozo/cotton blend handmade paper. A mandala fro the renewal of our environment.

Cosmos Crossroads
Print, Intervention piece. I printed a seed collograph with my handmade black and pulp painted white center paper. My Ecuador partner, Paulina Guaderas printed the bamboo forms into the center. Bamboo is an invasive species, crowding out indigenous plants.
